Hollywood U-Build-It Construction Sets
Constructo(6) Construction Sets

Hollywood U-Build-It is a simple Meccano-like construction system. An identifying feature are the two small holes in the strips between the normal holes. It was made in the USA from (possibly) the 1930s to the late 1940s.

(Golden State) Constructo(6) has the same parts as above and was made in the USA in (probably) the 1940s.

Strips have two 1/8" holes across the strip between each pair of main holes. *1 1930s also mentioned. *2 Exactly 7/16"; & multiples. See also CONSTRUCTO [6].

Lid has GOLDEN STATE CONSTRUCTO with side view of Mobile Crane & Bridge under. Most parts as HOLLYWOOD U-BILD-IT, including 1/8" hole(s) in Strips. *1In Set 200, the only one known. *27/16" & 1 3/8" in Plates. *3Bolts matt light green.
